I also discovered that statistics counts towards my 30 point total for psych courses. That means that I only have 14 points left to do and after the summer and fall I'll only have 8 remaining. Since I'll also only have the one requirement for the core left that will leave me with plenty of time to go after poli-sci honors as well and still take upper division psych classes to make myself more attractive to grad schools (oh, yeah, and some, umm, learning, yeah, umm, that too I guess) I am somewhat worried about my lack of high level classes (I have metaphysics, Justice, and I think that's it in the 3000 range) but hopefully I'll be able to make that up over my last few semesters.
One thing's for sure and that's that I am in a fairly good position to be able to pursue whatever sort of life I end up wanting, as long as I work hard and focus. I really need to push myself over the summer because Spanish has always been tough on me and this time we're going beyond grammer to actual comprehension. Hopefully I'll pull it off though. Then in the fall I have to resolve to actually DO the readings in CC and in my anthro colloquium since I need to do well in all my non-intro classes (I have TOO many intro classes in the fall.)
Still, I survived the semester and did okay. That's good. And my psych GPA is 3.73 which also makes me happy. Generally the only problem is the no A+ for the semester thing but I'll have to get over that. Now I need to start thinking about cleaning, getting a lab for the summer, and basically the future. It's a good thing that I have no laurels to sit on then.
