A couple parrots that love to squawk

I'm feeling relatively okay right now except for stomach troubles that make sure I can't leave my house for more than 15-20 minutes at a time.

It's sad but I've sort of been enjoying this illness. While it has CERTAINLY been unpleasant in numerous ways (not just the pain) it has also been freeing since I CAN'T do work. I've been able to actually relax. It makes me wonder whether I shouldn't REALLY consider dropping to 4 classes so I can have a bit more time.

I didn't do much yesterday and maybe it was that or the nasty pain but I couldn't sleep last night. I ended up watching a Steven Seagal movie at around 4 AM which wasn't quite as bad as it sounds. The nice thing about watching a S.S. movie is that it gives you a lot of time to think and come up with quips. Like at the beginning of the movie when Steve dumped the Vice President into the river I said, to nobody in particular, and now we know why Columbia has a swim test. I'm good at amusing myself.

It's kind of funny that even the flimsiest piece of action trash is so much more entertaining than 90% of those stiff and stupid costume dramas. Why do they continue making any but the VERY best of those (Dangerous Liasons was quite good) Who watches them?
