New Life

So I had a pretty interesting weekend that included such Williamsburg staples as heading out at bars to look at girls so far out of your league that they're playing some entirely different game, walking across the bridge to get Dim Sum.* Even went to an art gallery where a full 2/3s of the pieces looked like the sad scribblings of semi-retarded people.

Then on Saturday I went out at about midnight and...

Did laundry.

It turns out that when you don't have a washer and dryer in the house and you neglect washing your clothes for a week, you run out of them. Like entirely. And so it was I found myself with only a pair of sweatpants and an old shirt with holes in it to wear. So I went to the 24 hour of laundromat and washed my clothes while everyone else was out getting laid or drinking to forget the fact that they weren't getting laid that night.

I was happy to be at the laundromat.

*Tip, if you go into a Dim Sum restaurant and see a bunch of white people there, you're probably in the wrong place. Go where the Chinese go. Follow those yellow bastards to delicious food and pushy service.
