All the other kids are doing it

*Sigh*

It may not seem so to you folk but there's been a whole bunch of drama in my journal over the last couple of days and I'm sick of it. I try to keep the journal drama free, by not posting insulting things about other users (when I mention others it's usually to cite something they've said or mention that they have a huge penis, which would be insulting if I said it about a girl but I haven't) So I'm giving up. I'm getting in with the in crowd.

I'll be setting up friends filters so that people who don't want to read my rants about personal issues can. So far it's just going to be posts about my life or inner turmoil filtered and posts about other stuff unfiltered, but I'm open to creating more filters than that. If, for example, you'd like to know how I'm doing emotionally but are not interested in reading rants about the fairer sex you may indicate that and I'll set up a filter for that purpose. I didn't want to do this, for a variety of reasons, but at this point it seems like the best way to go.

If you want to read the filtered stuff indicate so, either by a comment here or an email to me or an AIM or carrier pigeon or telepathy. Whatever method you want. If you aren't on my friends list I will add you so that you can read the filtered stuff. I'm still going to be completely open to people who are interested, but I'm making things a bit more user friendly so as to improve communication and all that stuff. For now the political stuff and essays intended for an audience will remain unfiltered and public, so anyone who lurks or whatever will still get that stuff (if you are a lurker who wants to read all of it, you can create a free account and I will add you, even if I have no idea who you are or I don't like you.)

You may now return to your regularly scheduled puppies.
