I'm not going to rehash everything that went on during the single 17 hour day I worked at that particular job. It'd be pointless. I will say that about 12 hours into it I started hoping I'd get fired, and I got my wish when they announced they were firing the whole P.A. staff about an hour before we actually got out of there. Whether they actually did or not I don't know, but nobody told me to go back and I didn't. I don't expect I'll be paid.
It wasn't about the length of time or the actual duties, but that set was a special kind of dysfunctional. The signals I read prior to going there were spot on. There were 30 year veterans of the industry there who said they'd never worked in such a horrible environment.
