Republicans are funny

For Sean Hannity, the phrase "Stop War, Violence, Oppression, and Occupation" is controversial.

So are we to take it that Hannity is FOR war, violence, oppression, and occupation?

This is the most ridiculous media controversy I've seen since, well, the last time the rightwing media decided to invent some slight out of whole cloth.

I think it's pretty clear that the guy meant end war (nobody but a Republican likes war) violence (nobody but a Republican likes violence) oppression (such as the oppression of the Iranian people by the government of Iran) and occupation (He wants the Iraqi occupation to end.) Three of these are incredibly generic political platitudes, one is a somewhat controversial but hardly outside of the mainstream position that one might expect at a meeting of the Democrats.

Is there a better way to alienate Muslims than to question their motives and attack them at every possible turn? I'm not sure what it would be.
